Commercial Description:
A West Coast Double IPA So mega-hopped it will take you to hop heaven. We’ve used hops in the boil, more hops in the giant hopback, and added to that, an incredible amount of dry-hopping for that cutting-edge “hop bite.” Once you’ve tasted this unique beer, all others pale in comparison. 1.072 OG Classified IBU 8%ABV

SickBoy282 hooked me up with this one. Very nice double ipa, orange color typical of the style with a fierce hop aroma (citrus, grapefruit), and smooth taste with a hint of boozyness..The mouthfeel was slightly syrupy, but that did not detract too much from the beer. Very good beer.

I enjoy this beer more and more every time I get it on tap. Hot damn, what a fine IPA. I almost wet myself just from the floral aroma. Sweet at first with spiced malts and finishes with classic hoppy bitterness and crisp notes of pine, hay, and grapefruit. The balance is absolutely incredible in this beer. Great! One of my absolute favorite IPA’s, Alpine knows what they’re doing, and this beer is underrated I think.

I love this beer, it is a perfect depiction of what a west coast IPA should exemplify. BIg floral aroma, perfect balance, total masking of any alcohol, stellar finish of pine and a huge hop bite. Superb. This will always be my go to. It’s a top 3 IPA for me - and that deserves a lofty rating. But c’mon - I can’t believe people are giving this thing a 3 overall.....

Re-rate ==== looks like the hop bill on this has changed. Unfortunately, so has the entire beer...definitely is not what it used to be. Sigh.

Near perfect IPA. Yellow on the pour with a giant whitehead. Aroma of, you guessed it, HOPS; quality hops. The aroma also has malt, citrus, grass, and flowers. The flavor was, yes you guessed it again, HOPS; quality hops. Tastes of citrus and grass blended wonderfully. Alcohol is not noticeable, even at the 8% content. What would make this the perfect IPA? The color looks just like urine and it is not available in my area!

I’m a sucker for the hops. I really enjoyed the IPA I like the verity of hops and it finished nicely with malt and carmel.

Light hazy orange colour with a small off white head. Hoppy aroma with pine and fruity notes along a hint of some malty sweetness. Dry hoppy flavor with a light caramel sweetness. Dry finish with a vague perfume note.

(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Fresh, hoppy and somewhat perfumy citrus aroma. The body is medium with sweet, malty accents and some caramel thrown in. But otherwise this is completely dominated by extremely perfumy aroma hops. Not overly bitter though - in spite of the name. Courtesy of sk8viking. 150207
