Pours golden amber with a frothy white head. Nice piney, citrus hop aroma with a tad amount of celery salt. Upon the first sip, I was rather surprised by the light texture, but in a good way. It really allows the grapefruity and resiny hop profile to take center stage, without being obnoxious. Nice bitter finish, and the big hop juice flavors linger, along with some lemon grass, without being sticky. Vac tells me its the number one selling beer at Obriens, and I can see why. Thanks again Abby. BeerandBlues2 (3230), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Pours transparent yellow/orange with a big sticky head and great lacing. Flavor matches aroma almost exactly. This is how I want my ipa’s to taste. Palate is tart and sticky. This is a nicely balanced hop bomb and a great brew. Kevster (229), Bradenton, Florida, USA

Like all hoppy beers this was very citrusy, piney, and a tad sweet. What makes it diffrent from the others is that there is almost no resin and ether. Very elegant and smooth with the malts making it nice and velvety. brewblackhole (1384), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Huge citrus hop aroma, perhaps the most citrus slanted hop aroma I have ever experienced, some grainey hop and malt underneath, lighter clear orange amber color, A quick touch of sweetness, followed by a mouth ful of hop flavorwith a ton of long lasting hop bitterness in the end. If you wash it around your mouth and chew it a little bit,you can taste that citrus you smelled in the aroma, but that bitterness is pushing its way in for your attention. A very unique hop beer, one every hophead will have to figure out a way of trying Cornfield (4964), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2006 At a mini-meeting of The LoSBD: This poured out a nigh headless, thick amber body and had a heavy caramel aroma topped with some resinous hop bitterness. Almost chewably thick with the malt, this nevertheless had a solid balance between the sweet malt and the pine and grapefruit hop flavors, the latter emerging triumphant in the dry, bitter finish. Not too shabby.
