Commercial Description:
A West Coast Double IPA So mega-hopped it will take you to hop heaven. We’ve used hops in the boil, more hops in the giant hopback, and added to that, an incredible amount of dry-hopping for that cutting-edge “hop bite.” Once you’ve tasted this unique beer, all others pale in comparison. 1.072 OG Classified IBU 8%ABV

Deep solid gold body with moderate carbonation, visible yeast, and a big foamy and rocky white head that left a thick coat of lace down the entire length of the glass. Aroma of peaches, nectarines, lemon peels, and lightly sweet cereal grains. Flavor is of sweet and resinous hops like stone fruits and tree sap. Semi-sweet with medium-high bitterness and some heat in the finish. Medium bodied. This is a big, juicy, warming IPA. Thanks DarkElf.

Thanks to Crosling for sharing this!- Pours a slightly murky ggolden orange color. Aroma is wonderful, like a boquet of fresh resinous hops. Flavor is another hop punch, lots of grapefruit and pine, a bit of malts in there too, but certainly not balanced.

Falling Rock - to get this after finding out that Pliny the Elder had run out and not wind up crying says about all I need to say.

Draught sample at O’Brien’s, San Diego. Light honey-copper colour. Big grapefruit aroma, with some herbal notes in the background. Body is on the thin side. Flavour is as hoppy as expected, with some spiciness to make things interesting.

Thanks to Dark Elf for providing me with this one. Pours copper with a nice foamy white head. Smells of yogurt, pepper, bananas, and grapefruit. Tastes peppery with some nice floral notes and a smooth bitter finish. The 8% ABV is well masked in this one. Great lacing and mouthfeel.

Courtesy of Pailhead. Pours copper with white head. Aroma is all three standard hop smells. Mostly citrus but some pine and floral mixed in. Flavor is all citrus hops up front, a little malt through the middle. Long bitter grapefruit aftertaste. Very nice indeed.

Bottle: Courtesy of DarkElf via trade. Aroma is loaded with sweet citrus and citrus hops. Pours a transparent orange with some very fine sediment. Decent white head and moderate retention. Great lacing. Sweet citrus with some light peach up front. Excellent grapefruit hop finish for balance. An excellent IPA.

Draft. Amber gold with a big white head. Citrus hop aroma. Citrus flavor with pine resin and some sweet malt. Dry, but somewhat grassy finish. Good bitterness. Possibly some summer fruits.
