Commercial Description:
A West Coast Double IPA So mega-hopped it will take you to hop heaven. We’ve used hops in the boil, more hops in the giant hopback, and added to that, an incredible amount of dry-hopping for that cutting-edge “hop bite.” Once you’ve tasted this unique beer, all others pale in comparison. 1.072 OG Classified IBU 8%ABV

Draft at San Diego Brewing Company. Pours deep golden yellow with a decent head that leaves great lacing. Aromas were very green and floral. Fresh Mowed Grass. Flavors of grapefruity hopps and vanilla. Great IPA.

Slightly cloudy golden pour with a thin white head. Very good aroma of piney hops, cedar and fir tree sap. Flavor of piney hops and fir tree sap. Light to medium body, creamy, sticky texture.

Cask @ 05’ Pizza Port Real Ale Fest: Orange-like color, light white creaminess in the head. Nose of bruit grapefruit and chinese gooseberry inspired hops, light toast. The flavor is promising. Strong sting of bitterness and moderate hops wash around. It’s good and strong in the hop department with almost enough to crash the waves of body against it. Almost there, if only the levy could have held then maybe the villagers on my palate wouldn’t have been washed away by the hops.
ReRate: Sampled at Oakes’ ’05 Xmas Party
Full bouquet of the hop family, pronounced and sweet floral pollen. Balanced flavor, not over the top with bitterness but obviously in the dry-hop department. Nice mellow and refreshing finish. A very masculine nectar that’s quaffable and chuggable. 9-3-9-5-15

SD real ale festival. Pours deep straw color with a creamy head. Big amarillo peachy mango in the nose. Lots of the same hops flavor with a good whack of diacetyl. No real maltiness. Med. bodied. Wet heavy bitterness. Nothing memorable

The body is a bright gold. The aroma was amazing. Fresh and flowery with some bread. The taste had dirt, flowers and grapefruit. This was very well balanced. Nice.

Orange, with a decent white head. Smells like floral hops. Tastes like fresh hops. Look, I’m runnig out of way to say it - This is a really tasty, hoppy West Coast brew. It promises hops, it delivers hops - What more could you ask for?
