Commercial Description:
A West Coast Double IPA So mega-hopped it will take you to hop heaven. We’ve used hops in the boil, more hops in the giant hopback, and added to that, an incredible amount of dry-hopping for that cutting-edge “hop bite.” Once you’ve tasted this unique beer, all others pale in comparison. 1.072 OG Classified IBU 8%ABV

22 oz bottle after the Steelers pummeled the Chargers. This bottle was much better than the game. Pull the pin and toss this hop-bomb. Super sharp hoppy goodness on the nose. Grear amber color with strong white head. Taste is wonderfully sharp hops and pine. Not any sweet fruitiness. Some grapefruit maybe, and pineapple. The sharpness, not the syrup/fruit sweetness. Really good if you like the clear sharpness of hops.

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours with a slightly hazed gold body and a small off-white with compact rings of lacing from every sip. Aroma is of very floral and perfumey hops and a touch of melon. Taste is relatively strong on the malt with a nice hoppy component that finishes a bit sweet. Syrupy with light bubbles. Good and easy drinking but not flashy, DIPA, which is what it is...
on rerates...bottle: aroma and flavor are earthier and more herbal than I remember. Seems like a lot of cenntenial with some other hops in the background (possibly summit).

Bottled. Hazy orange color, short head. Aroma of good hops, grapefruit, hint of pine, some citrus. Good bitter taste, caramel malt, some pine. Great balance. Good stuff.

22 ounce bottle shared by cdumler. Thanks! Pours a hazy orange color with a medium frothy head (like chocolate milk) and particles suspended in the beer. Nice lacing and retention. Big hop aroma with citrus, resin and pine notes and a big honey-like malt backbone. Taste is lemon and resin hops with a tea-like character. Medium bodied. Very nice beer.

Bottle at home ... Crisp clear amber ... sweet resiny pin hop nose... sweet resins ... quiet intense pine ... very juicy ... hides its 8% well ... light bitter linger ... but its sweet juicyness goes down a treat.

22 oz. bottle courtesy of Beerlando. Clear, amber color. Large, fluffy white head. Nice floral hop aroma. Flavor is sublime. Just the right balance of caramel maltiness and piney hops. Twinge of bitterness at the finish. Wonderful beer!

Bottle. Incredibly full floral hop nose! A slightly hazy amber with just a bit of fizz. Salty start quickly gives way for the hop bitterness. The bitters take you for a long finish with sweet tones lingering at the tip of the tongue too. The name says it all! Delicious!
