Commercial Description:
A West Coast Double IPA So mega-hopped it will take you to hop heaven. We’ve used hops in the boil, more hops in the giant hopback, and added to that, an incredible amount of dry-hopping for that cutting-edge “hop bite.” Once you’ve tasted this unique beer, all others pale in comparison. 1.072 OG Classified IBU 8%ABV

22 oz. bottle from CelticBrew-thanks, Jim. Light amber/gold body, medium off white head, rings of lace that cling to the glass after each swallow. Lots of aromatic pine, grapefruit zest, and a backdrop of toffee and caramel. Medium body and carbonation, quite resinous, very dry on the palate. Although the malt provides a solid base here, it’s the hops that shine through with a big citrus rind bitterness, and a long, dry finish. A solid double IPA with plenty of hop kick.

Bottle courtesy of Smokepot23. Poured a hazy orange color with a thin egg shell head. Nose is resinous with strong caramel motes and a huge hop presence. Lots of piney, grassy, citric notes. Medium bodied with good carbonation. This beer is very tasty. Lots of wet hop flavors, grapefruit, pine, grass also some light peach and caramel. Very drinkable. Medium bitter finish with slight spice.

On tap at Downtown Johnny Brown’s in downtown San Diego. Pours amber with a thick off-white head. Has an incredible fresh cut grass aroma. The thick and cream palate provides a great smoothness. There is a sublime amount of mouth hops to this beer. As you get halfway through this beer you feel an intense tongue de-sensitizing bitter burn.

suprisingly understated hop aroma. Pours clear golden, with nice white head. Strong hops, but still quite smooth. Slight alcohol. Overall smooth and refreshing

Pours copper. Nose is big grapefruit, citrus, apples, toffee, caramel, pine. Flavor is big toffe and caramel perfectly balanced with big citrus, grapefruit, pine and floral hop goodness. Alpine is killing it when it comes to IPAs. Great stuff.

Great IPA. Pours a beautiful golden color. Strong floral and citrus aromas. Heavy bitter hop bite. 8% ABV is not to be taken lightly.

Bomber thanks to Smolespot23 and the fantasy baseball league I won. Pours a golden amber body with nice head. Aroma is a pleasant citrus hops, sweet malt. Taste has a sugary ceral like quality, nice malty flavor and loads of hops in it. At 8%, I couldn’t tell and it tastes quite sessionable. Well done. Thanks again buddy!

Bottle compliments of DaleHarshman. Fruity aroma with some dried pineapples and some gourd squashness. Very interesting aroma similar to fake blood (corn syrup). Pours a cloudy orange color with nice small head. Flavor of citrus hops with small malty backbone. Nice texture and balance though. Very easy to drink.

Bottle thanks to Dmac. Pours out a mostly clear light copper color with a small white head. Nice aroma of citrus hops, light sweet malts, maybe a little bit of caramel. Taste is of tangy citrus hops, light caramel malt and maybe some pine showing up in there also on the hop front. Well balanced and very easy drinking. Very well done.
