johnadam2002 (529), Hainesport, New Jersey, USA Jul 31, 2007 Poured copper with off white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Flavor started strong with hops and finished with a smooth sweet malt background. Citrus hints are present. Refreshing.
dkachur (999), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Oct 31, 2008 22 ounce bottle shared by cdumler. Thanks! Pours a hazy orange color with a medium frothy head (like chocolate milk) and particles suspended in the beer. Nice lacing and retention. Big hop aroma with citrus, resin and pine notes and a big honey-like malt backbone. Taste is lemon and resin hops with a tea-like character. Medium bodied. Very nice beer. cgarvieuk (2601), Edinburgh, Scotland Oct 18, 2008 Bottle at home ... Crisp clear amber ... sweet resiny pin hop nose... sweet resins ... quiet intense pine ... very juicy ... hides its 8% well ... light bitter linger ... but its sweet juicyness goes down a treat. KieferUGA (382), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 17, 2008 22 oz. bottle courtesy of Beerlando. Clear, amber color. Large, fluffy white head. Nice floral hop aroma. Flavor is sublime. Just the right balance of caramel maltiness and piney hops. Twinge of bitterness at the finish. Wonderful beer! danielcurtis81 (250), San Diego, California, USA Oct 10, 2008 Bottle. Incredibly full floral hop nose! A slightly hazy amber with just a bit of fizz. Salty start quickly gives way for the hop bitterness. The bitters take you for a long finish with sweet tones lingering at the tip of the tongue too. The name says it all! Delicious! explosivebeer (35), Washington, USA Sep 26, 2008 First off, I didn’t take notes when I tasted this beer. But it is quite memorable so hopefully that’ll be sufficient. From what I remember it was a fine clear light amber color. What was most outstanding was the amazing aroma that simply exploded with hoppy goodness. The body was nicely balanced with sweet maltiness and it finished as spectacularly as it started. This is a beautiful beer.
