Commercial Description:
Willy, named after my brother-in-law’s childhood nickname, is crisp and light-bodied, with a slightly sweet, nutty flavor. The hopping is mild and gentle. It’s perfect for times when you crave a beer utterly refreshing and low in alcohol. A true thirst quencher everyone enjoys. 1.047 OG 4 IBU 4.9%ABV

Courtesy of hopscotch, thanks Eric. This poured a straw like color with a thin fizzy head. The aroma was of grains, wheat, and some bicuity malt. The flavor was similar with some citrus fruit, wheat, grains, and the biscuit malt. Light bodied and fizzy carbonation that had a short crisp finish. This is a clean refreshing beer that is uneventful yet without any real flaws.

Found my notes! From memory, I nailed the color and the type of head. Almost nailed the aroma... it’s also lightly spicy. Nailed the palate. Got the flavor right. Tilted the rink on the finish. The only thing I wasn’t able to hit was the score. Dropped from a 3.4 to a 3.2. Thought I had a really bad memory... it’s why I use this site to database all the beers I try. Score one for my big brain! ... Initial rating... Bottle... Lost my notes, but I just tried it last night. Hmmm?... Pours a hazy straw-color with a small, fizzy, white head. Subtle aroma of pale grains and biscuit malt. Light-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Perfectly balanced. Restrained essences of citrus fruit and boiled grains. Short, crisp, clean finish. Flawless, refreshing little beer.

22oz bottle. Pours gold with a little bit of haze and a 2 finger head. Smell is sweet, fruity with and grain. Taste is wheat, cereal grain and a little bit of spicy and fruit. Watery mouthfeel decent carbonation. Not something I would enjoy more then one of.

Cbkschubert gave me this 22oz bomber. Cracked it open when my dad was visiting he got a kick out the lable because he calls me Willy. Sweet malt with some pepper on the nose. Hazy Yellow body with white fizzy head that disapates fairly fast. Sweet tangy soapy with some bittering. Rfreshed the palate jast as it claims on the bottle. Good brew thanks Craig.

Bottle from Beverages 4 Less. Medium golden color with a slightly hazy wit look to it. Slightly sweet aroma with a bit of graininess. Somewhat thick grainy flavor with a little bit of sweetness. Floral and somewhat spicy. Quite full flavored for the style.

650 ml bottle from Bev4less in Santee. This one pours a slightly cloudy yellow gold color with a small white head that soon fades to nothing. The aroma is moderate in strength with berries, hay and banana. The flavor is also moderate with strawberries, banana, almonds and some biscuit rounding out the sides. The mouthfeel is light and crisp without being thin and watery. The finish is long with more berries. Overall: a much better than average wheat ale. Recommended.

On tap @ the brewery. Not really my cup O’ tea. Poured a mostly clear golden yellow with a white head about 2 fingers thick. Nose was mostly fruity with some yeast and spice as well. Very refreshing.

22 oz bottle. Clear yellow pour with not much head. Clouded up when I added some swirled yeasties. Nose was decent, fruity and some spice. Flavor was down a little. Vegital and citrus. Not great. About on par with what I have come to expect from most American Wheats.
