Commercial Description:
Willy, named after my brother-in-law’s childhood nickname, is crisp and light-bodied, with a slightly sweet, nutty flavor. The hopping is mild and gentle. It’s perfect for times when you crave a beer utterly refreshing and low in alcohol. A true thirst quencher everyone enjoys. 1.047 OG 4 IBU 4.9%ABV

(Bottle) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of buttery popcorn, sweet corn, and light citrus. Malty body with flavor of cereal, corn, grassy hops, and buttery.

A wheat beer? Are you kidding me? EDA shared a bomber of this with me and a few others, and I was sitting there trying to figure out what kind of lager it was. Definitely some lager-like yeast in there, dry and with that slightly tinny note you get. I eventually settled on kellerbier, as it was cloudy, although it didn’t quite have the right taste for that. But certainly closer to that than an American Wheat. Gimme a break! This beer sucks.

22 oz bomber purchased @ Southbay Drugs. Pours a nice golden color. Aroma is wheat, banana and spice. Flavor is much as expected in a wheat beer, but with a little more sweetness than im used to. Hints of lemon and spice too. This beer isn’t going to blow anyone away, but it’s a well crafted wheat that is incredibly easy to drink. Great on a hot day.

22 oz bomber purchased @ Southbay Drugs & Liquor. This beer poured as a straw blonde with a medium sized layer of foam for a head. It had a nice sweet grained malt aroma with a hint of lemon zest or possible coriander to the aroma. In the flavor, I find a flavorful yeast that has notes of spice and banana that is so close to a German hefe that I loved this wheat to the finish.

On tap @the brewery - Pours a clear light golden color with a thin white head. Faint lacing. Aroma is light wheat malt and light herbal hops. Flavor is slightly sweetened wheat malt with a touch of noble hop bitterness. Light body and mouthfeel. A very nice wheat beer. Wish these guys could increase thier brewing capacity soon. Love to see some of these tap only beers bottled.

A brewery sample - solid wheat ale. Take it for what it is...the style, in itself, is nothing spectacular to me...but as far as wheats go, this one is money. ABC is a must visit.

On Tap @ brewery. Clear golden color with bright white head. Light aroma of sweet malts. Crisp taste with sweet malts being the dominant taste feature. Behind that was a bit of hops.
