miketd (372), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Oct 10, 2007 Pour is a golden, mostly clear, with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus...mostly lemon. Also notes of corn and sweet malts. Flavor is weak with sweetness from the malt and almost no hop presence.
WeeHeavySD (1844), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Sep 18, 2008 Sample at the Brewery today, pours gold with a white head. Nice drinkable american wheat with some a nice balanced feel. enginaaron (73), San Diego, California, USA Aug 23, 2008 Remarkably clear with low head retention, but a nice white fluffy head. Low aroma, but smells like pilsner malt. Low sweetness, with slight wheat and a small bit of pilsner malt. I.... I don’t get it. I LOVE Alpine, Pat makes some amazing brews, but I don’t get this beer. I would’ve preferred an actual wheat beer but this is just like a booring pilsner/wheat. Three cheers for clarity, though. ChainGangGuy (1602), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Aug 14, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow body with a bubbly, white head.
Smell: It’s wheaty, lemony, maybe a bit floral.
Taste: Mixture of pale malts and soft, malted wheat. Medium sweetness. Some tart lemon. Mild bitterness. Sweet, lemony finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: One of those so-so, average at best kind of beers where, if it weren’t for these notes, would be instantly forgettable. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Aug 13, 2008 Date: 06/21/2008

yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at Pizza Port, San Clemente. Pours clear and yellow with a lacing white head. Mild pilsner hops and malt aroma. Mild flavour if not to say vague. Reminds me more of a german pilsner than a kristall weizen. Light wheaty touch towards the finish though.
