Commercial Description:
Tamarack is an authentic Bavarian Dunkel. Despite its dark color it is a medium bodied beer with a slightly toasted, chocolatey flavor and a hint of spicyness towards the end.

Deep amber, choc/ alcohol aroma, not a very distinctive flavour, though, malt, coffee, sugar and cinnamon all faintly present.

Appealing red amber color, but with zero head retention. Feint, stale (nutty?) maltiness with a nutty flavor and rusty finish. After a second tasting, I noticed more of tha balance and barrel maltiness. It has an offkey nutty finish which can be slightly unpleasant. A middling craft dunkel.
