It was a light gold color, light head and lacing. Nose of rice cakes, some malt and husky dust. The flavor is crisp, malty, light dough and toast. Some fruit is there too. Decent lager. mcnally (114), Burbank, California, USA

Really enjoyed this beer, probably because I had already finished a pitcher of the Alpine Bock. Standard lager. No noticeable hops. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA

Not very hoppy. I got a 32oz. and the head lasted for days. Not great, but not bad. I’d rather drink this than do the chicken dance. Tasted at Alpine Village Oktoberfest 2002. 40oz (181), Newport Beach, California, USA
