Hints of dried fruit, slightly sicy with some herbal accents. Quite nice. MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Jan 9, 2008 (swing top bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a small, slightly off-white head. Sweet, slightly roasted dark malt aroma with caramel (leaves the impresion of German malt bonbons) and a light spicy herbal hoppy touch in the background. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a well-carbonated and matured mouthfeel. Solid dark and slightly roasted malty base with caramel and hints of liquorice and herbal notes in the background; sweet-bitter, rounded toast-malty and elegantly hopped finish.
