duff (5403), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Feb 11, 2008 Bottle. A nice nuttyness exits throughout, nice and dry. Soft caramel to start, bready malt. Finish is grassy, and lightly bitter. Very drinkable, if nothing outstanding.
cgarvieuk (2149), Edinburgh, Scotland Feb 21, 2008 Screw Cap bottle at home ... Deep dark copper ... lager with a touch of malt nose ... quite nutty and malty lager ... decent fruit component... but in the end its still too lager for me. Lager not being my thing. harrisoni (4896), Ashford, Kent, Kent, England Feb 11, 2008 500ml bottle at Battersea BF 08. Chestnut colour with thin off white head. Lager yeast and hop aroma. This is pretty decent. Very drinkable, darkish lager. Nice subtle carbonation. Some nuttiness, some fruit. Remarkably good. Very drinkable with good character and red currantt jam acidity. bierkoning (4603), La Tropica, Netherlands Sep 17, 2007 Bottle. Orange brown color, hazy. Aroma has orange and bubblegum. Sweetish flavor with orange, a slight yeasty bitterness, bubblegum, pineapple and some flowery hops. Comes close to the Kommunbrauhaus Zoigls, in flavor and almost in quality. Is however a bit too sweet and too polished. pivnizub (3600), Porúří, Germany Jan 26, 2007 Screw-cap bottle: Amber coloured, hazy, small lacing head; barnyardy, slightly sourish nose with a caramell, roast-malty background; mild sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; sweetish fruity and bitter finish. Not my favourite.......
