Aroma: delicate, light, perfumey, and a trifle sweet.
Graceful meeting ’pon the lips and tongue, roundly fills the mouth, softly fading.
Hops are pronounced on the palate, and well-appreciated, providing abundant flavoring and over-adequate satisfaction.
Light body, beautiful finish.
Herbal qualities shine through, sip after sip. A delicious elixir, proundly pretty, and happily drunk.
One of the best lagers ever put to my lips!

complex spicy flavours - i detected cinamon and clove , but there are more. Also malt, vanila and a strong but very pleasant bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. A good and interesting beer, a bit different. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA

Erupts when opened; pours a wonderful hazy ruddy orange. Sweet hoppy aroma, like syrup. Wow, feels very good going down, silky smoothness. Taste is odd, however. bitter, but definate sweetness somewhere in the complex flavor. OVerall this is a decent selection, but strange. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 12, 2003 Starts out malt sweet big time and immediately settles into a really wonderful noble hoppiness - flowery, also some iron and earth, and as someone once said, pencil shavings. I like this. Body is nice and crisp. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

Quite dry at but this eventually leads to some bitterness.Quite well balanced. Not a world beater but a reasonable and refreshing lager. SilkTork (4191), Rochester, Kent, England

Some good flavour - slightly soapy, but with a fragrant bite. Does the job well. Quenches the thirst with character, flavour and moderate interest. Very drinkable, satisfying and moreish. Stuff like this has gradually been converting me to larger. When done well it’s a damn fine beer. This has a soft, natural carbonation. This is nice - tastes fresh and unfiltered and uncarbonated.
