Aug 22, 2009 Altenmuenster hefe-weissbier. Bottle, 5.5%. Banana aroma with a rough hop note. Cloudy dark orange colour. OK banana flavour. Slightly sweet, the way I like it. Some banana, quite standard German wheat beer.

Aug 21, 2009 swingtop bottle. Huge cream head that left quickly. Hazy orange body with a cloudlike white "fluffs" below the head. Some lacing. Smell a ton of banana and bread. Only a small note of clove and a medium amount of lemon. Taste was once again huge of banana and a lot of lemon to balance the sweetness. Good hop bite. Well made hefe but not the best. Will drink again.

May 11, 2009 Bügelverschlußflasche: Cloudy, golden to orangey coloured, stable, firm yellowish head; ripe bananas and cloves in the nose, together with a subtle acidity; quite light bodied, moderate sweet-sourish flavour; sweetish-wheaty finish with a light acidity and distinctive hoppy traces in the aftertaste. Reasonable thirst-quencher........

May 1, 2009 bottle from my local Edeka. Cloudy deep brownish-yellow colour with a large fluffy head. Full-bodied, yeasty and malty with an intenisve fruity touch, citrus furit mainly, shy hints of cinnamon. Good one.

Hazy medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate to light heavy yeasty, banana, rubber. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090110]
