Bottle. Alright, the Santa Claus on the front of the funky white bottle got my attention. Brown color with a laced tan head. The "dark" German beer malt and nut aroma and flavor. While there is a a hint of spice, it is not enough to make this beer interesting.

Extremely enjoyable. I had no idea what to expect upon opening this very interesting and unique bottle. The aroma is sweet, and the pour is a deep brown color with a big puffy head. Lots of caramel, very malty with some ensuing spiciness that makes this one have a unique character for a dunkel. So easy to drink, I would love to have some more of this.

Aroma is chocolate and caramel. Apperance is brown with a nice head. Flavor is chocolate, caramel, and nutmeg with a slight bitterness. Palate is a little watery. I haven't had many Dunkels but so far I enjoy the style and this is no exception.

Dark red/brown. Diminishing head. Intense maltiness, a bit roasty. This reminds me somehow of Schwarzbier. I´m not a great fan of Dunkel or Schwarzbier and this didn´t make me change my mind.

Nice malt aroma and a slight malt flavor carries throughout. Slight nutty flavor. A good easy drinking beer.

i bought this beer for the bottle. it looks like a mini dark-colored ghetto jug of bacardi. the handle on the back helped me pour the beer efficiently. there is a faint smoky oak flavor, with a watery mouthfeel. i enjoyed it best at room temperature. smoky oaky carmel goodness. decently decent.

Malt and caramel both in aroma and flavor. Medium bodied, good lacing. Just a hint of coffee. Slightly bitter aftertaste with a hint of glue. Fairly clean palate. Good enough.
