| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 13, 2006 Why so pale? A very prominent alcohol nose along with, to a lesser extent, roasted caramel and toffee. Very low bitterness noticible in the hop profile. Alcohol was very prominent in the flavor, masking some of the subtle biscuity malts that underly the whole drink. Dry astringent alcohol burn in the finish.
