I’ve seen this beer in the local BevMo’s for awhile now, but just never pulled the trigger and bought one. Well, now that it shows up at a tasting, it looks like I’ll really have to go out and get it. A very nice maibock for the spring season.

The beer pours out a golden straw-like color with a nice two-finger thick head. A nice honey-like nose, with grains and a subtle herbalness to it. Flavors had some bread character, grassy-hay like notes, very clean yet soft in everything about it. Very nice spring beer. One I’ll definitely get a few more times as long as I can find it.

Very nice uber dry maibok. Very little aroma likely from a german haulataur or similar noble hop. The taste is very dry with a nice hop bite followed by a strong malt background.

Pour is clear golden with some amberness to it and a thin off white head...smell is toasty and grainy with hints of grass...taste is taste is sweet and grainy...this starts out so really great, but changes into a some cardboard and sourness...that ruined what could’ve been really good...

I liked this beer....golden color and has a nice grainy pilsner malt flavor and finishes up cleanly..if it was not so strong I could see this being a nice lawnmower beer...love the malt flavor and finish

Pour is a bright golden with a big ass white head. Arom is dusty with seom grain and hay. Flavor is sweet malts and honey with a little sourness at the end. Nothing really great or thirst quenching as this is really thick.

500 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a golden color with medium white head. The aroma is grassy, sweet and fruity, with a hint of cherry. The flavor is sweet with grasses and a touch of cereal. The mouthfeel was just a bit thin. The finish was short and clean with lingering hops. overall: A good summer seasonal.

Pours clear bright yellow with decent white head. The nose and the flavor is sweet and gassy, with a honey like mid and finish.
