| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2004 Appearance: clear, bright golden hue, underneath a flowering, pure white head of frothy foam. Aroma: nice and mild, though sweet, honeyish, and a bit floral.
Minor hoppiness in the taste, at first, then smooth all the way, with significant flavor standing out on top. Light body, decent texture, simple finish. Bright, and just a bit spicy.
Actually, the prounouced flavor lost some of the pep in it’s step, and felt rather ordinary toward the end. A nice lager that I had no expectations for at the outset, was happily surprised at first, then lulled into complacency and let down at the end. Feels stiff, flat, a bit dull and dried up. I’ll just say I remembered it when...

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Sep 8, 2004 Bottle: Aroma is very lemony and a little malty. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a little white head that’s gone rather quicky. Taste is very bland. Not a whole lot of character to this beer. Very watery. Virtually no initial taste, follwed by an extremely quick, very slight bitter and even less sweet finsih. Verry dry. No aftertaste whatsoever. This has to be the most boring beer I’ve ever had. There is nothing to it. I can’t say it’s the worst beer I’ve had because it can’t taste bad if it has virtually no taste to begin with. jazz88 (2239), San Francisco, California, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 7, 2004 Bottle. A light golen color with a laced white head. Malty earth aroma with a hint of mint. The flavor has simple malts and hay, and generally it is not good at all. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 29, 2004 Aroma of lemon drop candy and some soap. A lighter red and gold that is a little cloudy. The body is topped by a very thin head. The taste is refreshing and light. It has a little bit of grass and a finish of dirt. The finish is also soapy. An ok lager, but nothing to get excited about. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 23, 2004 Bottle. Hazy brown/orange/yellow with minimal head. Has a strong taste of honey in it. There is some straw flavors, but the honey masks them. The honey is very, very nice. Medium bitter finish. This is very nice, refreshing, and enjoyable. Gromit (462), Port Orchard, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 22, 2004 I’m not sure if I’ve had any others of this style for comparison, but I enjoyed this quite a bit and I’m rather suprised at what I consider a low average it has here.
Cool swing-top bottle, poured a cloudy straw color with a white head that lasted the entire beer.
Scent was malty with some light spices to it.
The only problem with the flavor was that it was a bit too thin, so I docked it here and with the palate score, but it’s nicely rounded and balanced. Overall, as I stated, this is quite nice.
