Pours pale yellow with small white head. Aroma is corn and some malt. Essentially nothing spectacular. Flavor is corn, some carbonation, but also entirely unoffensive. I could pound several of these. Not bad overall. Very smooth. Just not exceptional.

Got this in a 1pint flip-top bottle says "bavarian speciality" on the label'. Well the appearance is nice but not unusual for a lager nice head deep yellow coloured beer. I liked the aroma of this beer,..very malty with a barley scent to ( ive been in a whisky distillery and this smelt like the malted barley stage)...liked it a lot. Nice dry malty taste though less than I had expected given the aroma..nice crisp on the palate. Feels good and smooth in the mouth leaving some small hoppy after taste on back of tongue..good. Nice drinkable lager beer..would have again.

Light amber color with plenty of bubbles coming up from the bottom. Strong alcohol smell with a light bubbly palate. Average beer that would would be refreshing on a hot summer day but not otherwise.

Smooth start, light crispness in the middle, with a lightly sweet, bubble gum finish. Appearance a bit murky, light head. Overall, an excellent choice...very enjoyable.

Straw color with a taller popcorn colored head. Light grainy and slightly herbal (light thyme and rosemary) aroma. Light malt sweetness followed by a dry herbal/sage finish. Bland and not very clean tasting.

Pretty good helles, not unlike Paulaner in its malt profile--light sweetness and a complexity of light flavors. Preferable maybe to Spaten, but frankly not worth the high price. The good looking swingtop bottle should hold a beer more substantial or alluring.
