Aroma of lightly sweet biscuity Belgian malt with some sugar cookie notes and a touch of grassy hops. Body starts with a nice fullness and carbonation giving way to sweet doughy malts and Belgian yeast with some light fruity esters and a touch of clove. Finishes slightly drier with a floral piny bittering hoppiness. I don’t usually like sour beers but this has a very pleasant grapefruity tartness. Nice summer drink. The alcohol is more than hidden, I think it is overestimated. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Apr 16, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy brown body with a white creamy head. Lots of fruity esters with apple being the dominant note. Some light spices with a hint of grass and grapes. Dry with little notice to the high abv. Sweet chewy slightly tart apple flavor. A great brew! hopdog (5526), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 27, 2009 11.2oz bottle. This one poured all off whtie head (and I mean all head). Settled into a medium and hazy amber color. Aromas of floral hops, a little fruity, and yeasty. Tastes of fruitinss, grapes, lighter yeast, and cherries. Lighter tart finish with the alcohol content well hidden.
