Bottle. Aroma of floral hops, apple skins, orange peel, orange, toasted malt, sort of like Belgian ale meets ESB. Flavor somewhat woody with nuts to go along with the toast, flowers, and fruit. Dryish finish. Quite tasty.

Bottle. Pours a dirty orange with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet apple pie and dark fruits, with a touch of light hops. Flavor is quite fruity with apple and fig and sweet malt. Very flavorful. Lately I have found most BSAs to be rather boring, but not this one! Well done! 7/4/8/4/15 (3.8/5)

(Bottled) Very hazy amber with a medium, tight and creamy head (well, after 3/4 of the beer had gushed out into the table and floor). Tart, caramely-fruity and herby-spicy, quite Orval-like aroma. Very fruity, plesantly tart flavor with some sweetness from the caramel malt, and a peppery-spicy, bitter-hoppy finish. Alcohol is fully hidden. Medium-bodied with slightly foamy carbonation. Need to resample this beautiful beer with a less "active" bottle. Update: tried another one, with the same results :(

Tap @ ZBF 2009.
Pours hazy, darkish golden with a nice, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma has caramel, light viniousness, some roasted notes and plums. A fresh dose of hops as well. Super, quite dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, lightly tart, good oranges, wood and roasted malts. Quite drinkable.

Had this at Zythos Beer Festival, March 7th and 8th 09 Pours a murky light amber colour. The aroma is a little sour and citric. Taste is also a touch sour and nothing like the description. Its fruity, there is bitterness but its quite citric throughout. Not sure whether it was intended to be like this. A6 A3 F6 P3 OV12 3.0

330ml Bottle: Sweet aroma of caramel, fruit, light yeast, candi sugar, some malts, and a hint of pollen. Poured brown/orange in color with a large, fizzy, beige head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Full of medium-sized particles throughout. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of fruit, yeast, slight toffee, light caramel, cherries, and slight resin. Light to medium body. Thin, fizzy, lightly dry texture. Lively carbonation. Sweet, yeasty, lightly dry, lightly sticky finish. 9%ABV is totally hidden.

33 cl. bottle. Cloudy dark amber with a fleeting foamy head. Citrusy aroma with a bit of funk underneath, also caramel pear and floral notes. Lightly sweet caramel flavor with a bit too much citric tartness for my liking. Some grassy hops in the back. Dusty, dry and slightly funky finish. Mildly carbonated. If it wasn’t for the excess sourness I’d realy love this. Otherwise OK.
