Citrusy aroma with a bit of funk underneath, also caramel pear and floral notes. Lightly sweet caramel flavor with a bit too much citric tartness for my liking. Some grassy hops in the back. Dusty, dry and slightly funky finish. Mildly carbonated. If it wasn’t for the excess sourness I’d realy love this. Otherwise OK. bu11zeye (5698), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2008 Pours a murky copper, with a fizzy, short-lived head - aroma of melon, apricot, cranberry, a lot of earthy, musky character, and a slightly wild quality - full carbonation in the mouth - semi-sour and quite earthy up front, with tart cranberry flavors, and a near lambic-like funkiness - moderate acidity - starts getting a little sweet through the middle, but just a tiny bit - flavors of melon rind and orange couple with this, and it gets a little grainy near the finish - ends tart, semi-dry, and moderately hoppy - quite an interesting beer, like a strong belgian mixed with a small portion of lambic - nice. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2008 color is dark orange/copper. Aroma is stingy, nose tickling, esters. a little too much - strong topical fruit and berries. It’s coming off almost solvent-like. Taste is melon with a bit of an alcoholic edge. Either its too young or just needs a little something else.
