Nutty, bittersweet chocolate flavor and a touch of rum balanced by some hop bitterness, medium mouth feel. You seem to either really like this brew a lot or not at all, happen to like it a lot, perfect company to a fine hand made cigar. BuffaloBrewed (42), Buffalo, New York, USA

The aroma and taste remind me of nutella spread. The body is a little thin and very carbonated. Not too bad but nothing to go out of your way for. bellbell (4), USA does not count | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Tap at Amherst Pizza/Ale house. Tastes like someone dumped a bottle of hazelnut extract into the glass. Absolutely overwhelming nutty, hard to finish. At least there are no other vile overtones present. beerbuzzmontreal (2931), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Very strong and disgusting aroma of nutella. The flavor has the same nutella thing going on with some malt. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Yuck. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA

It tastes good, but the obvious use of the hazelnut to hide everything else is detracting. joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada

Intense and rich aroma of hazelnuts and coffee. Very thin flavor however. Very watery and with a hint of the big hazelnut aroma. A little too sweet. I loved the way it smelled, but it wasn’t balanced properly. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Huge hazelnut aroma, and I even got some cream soda out of it as well. Nice murky brown appearance. Syrupy like nut taste though - I often complain nut browns have little nutty taste but this is at the other end - overwhelming and unbalanced. Pretty interesting though!
