Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 5, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Clear, dark orangey brown with an off-white head. Clean and very malty nose. Quite full-bodied with roasted malt and lightly burned caramel accents - very, very German. Almost no bitterness. 030707 Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark May 21, 2007 Bottle. A dark red beer with a big beige head. The aroma is of corn, caramel malt and rye bread, the taste is sweet and of caramel malt, rye bread and alcohol. Medium body with a sweet alcoholic finish. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jul 5, 2007 Nice red-mahogany color; the head reduces quickly, but leaves a nice lace. The aroma is malty and sweet, as only German Bock are, at times. The flavor is also very sweet, malty (not thick), with sweet caramel and a touch of ripe apples. You may find it oversweet, but I like it, for example to finish a meal. fonefan (5558), Ulfborg, Denmark Jan 4, 2008 Bottle.
