Hazy light amber. Quite buttery on the nose. Light body is vaguely malty, with a fair bit of diacetyl. The finish is actually more watery than anything else. Somewhat bland.

Draft @ brewpub. Thick lasting off-white head. Aroma is different for a helles. Has some orange and spice from the hops and a little bit of butter. Palate is slick. Hops are peppery, dry, and fruity but isn’t hitting my pocket. Not bad, though.

Draught@brewpub. Golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is grass,some sweet malts and some mild fruity notes. Flavour is grass, some malts and mild yeasty notes.

On tap at the brewery. Gold clear, nice head and lacingmusty flavors, not too sweet, with some soft fruitiness. It was very clean at the finish

A great unfillterd Helles. Nice cloudy yellow if you get it in a glass. Normally hidden in a stone beermug. A great Helles beer for sure. Try it first than move on the the other beers. One of the better Helles that you can find anywhere. But most people dont understand what a Helles is.

1 liter bottle, sampled at home. it was a nice dortmunder with a hazy golden body and a foamy white head. Fine aroma of bottom fermentation, caramel malt, some fruity and soury perfume. Smooth mouthfeel, fine caramel taste, delicious sourish yeast flavor, fine bitter in the finish, well balanced hop in the aftertaste too.

On tap at Altstadhof Brewpub, Nurnberg. Gold with white head. A helles with some character, fruity and peachy in my notes. Quite a heady aroma with the fruitiness following into the body. Grainy malt in the close, quite decent.

Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Medium sized white head. Handmade hoppy yeasty aroma with lemon and nice fruits. Thin to medium bodied, slightly watery palate. Flavor is more hopped with same yeasty note, biting lemon in drying aftertaste. Some yeasty herbal note also in aftertaste.
