Not the best beer at Altstadt but still a good one. As others have said give this a taste but the others are much better.

Hazy, reddish-amber. Vague aroma is toast-accented. Very bland, flat and oily. Hardly anything across the palate at all. Very disappointing.

Draft @ brewpub. Hazy red with very thick cream-colored head. Fruity aroma is mostly apples. Is inviting enough. Same oily palate as the other two house beers. Very bland and easy, watery. Fruity malt, a decent apple and earthy flavor.

Draught@brewpub. Ambery colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some grass, mild saltwatery notes as well as mild diacetylic toffee. Flavour is quite much the same. A quite pleasant vienna, though the saltwatery notes are not the best.

A hard class for beer. A good beer not the best here but still a good one. I think if you come here give this one to your wife and test the other beers.

1 liter flip-top bottle taked away, tasted at home. Red-copper body with a light-tan creamy head. Sourish yeastly aroma with some caramel and a light roasted fruity(lichi) perfume. Sourish taste with a light acidic mouthfeel of citruses, sweet caramel malt, light roasted taste, some chocolate and.. Minimal hop. Not the best of the brewey, but drinkable. i don’t know why this acidic taste is in the beer...Attack of the acetobacter?

On tap at Altstadhof Brewpub, Nurnberg. Reddy brown with white head. A malty sweet beer with sweet caramel flavours throughout, very toffeeish and tinny. I did get some kiwi fruit in the close to add a little interest. Not great.
