May 31, 2006 A muddy brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light touch of spices. The flavor is sweet spicy combined with some notes of cellery, leading to a dry end, where the alcohol becomes present after have been hiding in the beginning.

May 18, 2007 CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours amber clear with almost no head. Soapwash aroma, very perfumed aroma hops with a slight spice note (ginger). Flavour is a lot more pleasant sweet, spicy and well balanced. Fullbodied. Finish is rasin sweet.

Jun 16, 2007 Bottled. Very dark brown opaque colour. The head is something of the most alive head I have ever seen. Aroma is salted licorace, yeast, spices, and some malts. Flavour is alcohol, spices, earth, grass and some caramel. Also slight hints of salted licorace.
