Aroma is grassy as!, pine character with some yeasty fruityness comign through. Taste is similar, noteably bitter but the yeast stops it from being over powering. Great stuff. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 22, 2008 Half of a 33cl bottle, the other half foamed down the drain. Big gushing upon opening that eventually settled down into a hazy golden bronze with lots of yeast clumps resting on the bottom of the glass and a pillowy off-white head atop. Aroma of lightly sweet biscuity malts and Belgian yeast with a grassy resiny hop character. Body starts with good fullness, semi-sweet with a touch of caramel, some lemony citrusy hops and a good bittering balance. Finishes fairly smooth and bittersweet. A nice Belgian IPA, just wish it wouldn’t have been such a foamer. JasonG (701), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Taste is medium sweet, Belgian yeast, spicy, some grapefruit, peach. Medium body, some acidity, light chalk. jcp23 (47), Duluth, Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Bottle into tulip. Understated yeasty, malty, mildly citric aromas. Bright, cloudy, light golden orange colour with moderate white head. Spotty lacing. Sediment swirling in the glass gently and rapidly fades into the body. Lip smackingly citrus hoppiness with notes of lemon and orange. Resinous oiliness holds together the hop complexities. Extremely drinkable with an easy, mild, very approachable mouthfeel. Delicately dry, bitter finish. Feels like drinking a fortifying fruit beverage that is healthful and rejuvenating. Like sunshine in a glass. Uniquely yummy - very nice!
