This one gushed greatly, and presented a hazy gold pour with massive amount of white head that retained itself well. The nose was hoppy, floral, with candi sugary malt in the nose. Flavor was malty, floral, hoppy, spicy, yeasty. A definite belgian style IPA with more of the emphasis on the rock sugar, dry florals, and funky notes and not as much emphasis on the pure hop bomb levels. Very nice. Cloudy yellow gold with a huge, foamy off white head. Very floral and grassy with some expected tropical fruit from the Amarillo. Tarty, bitter and very drinkable. Lovely fruity notes and an excellent bitter finish that has considerable length. Very good stuff. Sammy (4062), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Absolute bomb explosion of foam - it wasn’t moved in days. A third left in bottle of citrus IPA, and the foam not shot out. A lemonbalmy aroma with the fragrant Amarillo, a pleasing bitterness. Wish there was more. Good mouthfeel. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with sediment and a healthy head. Noble hops aroma with some citrus. Initial sweet flavours, but balanced by good, earthy, slightly citric hop bitterness. I enjoyed this one. bierkoning (6100), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Citrus and vanilla in the hoparoma. Firm citric, flowery, slightly perfumed flavor, lingering on in the aftertaste. Yeasty. Very tasty, but not very refined. SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA

Pours hazy golden amber with a huge, fluffy white head and lots of dark sediment. Aroma of citrus and spice, sugar cookie dough and shortbread, summer fruit, light floral hops. Flavor of stone fruits, bready yeasts, more of the cookie dough and spice - allspice, coriander and clove - floral and citrus hops. Medium body, blessedly assertive carbonation. daniele (1750), Italy

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 15, 2008 33 cl bottle. Slightly hazy bright orange-golden beer with a massive (massive) rocky white head. It took me a solid 15 minutes to pour this guy. Aroma is very inviting though. Rich yeasty spiciness with lots of clove, pepper, and herbal aromas mixing with the fruity/citrusy hop aroma. Bright light mintiness with lots of candyish/fruity esters. It’s not as obviously hoppy as something like Houblon Chouffe, but there is plenty of hop aroma and bitterness to bring it into IPA territory. Zesty and perfumy with a lovely citrus and spice hoppiness that accents the crackery base malts and the rich yeastiness perfectly. Very tasty.
