Blond head and light cloudy appearance. Light somewhat fruity aroma. The taste is hop and fruit with a long bitter hoppy finish.

Bottle. Hazy gold with large white foam. Very lively out of the bottle. Aromas are floral, hoppy and woody with lots of yeast. Some pine. Flavours are bitter grapefruit and pine with herbal notes. Quite woody and yeasty. Spicy on the finish. Good.

Slight hazy golden blond beer with great looking white head on top. Aroma is dry-malty with a green touch of hops and a slight citrussy bite to it. a light to medium golden-blond beer with a nice refreshing character and taste. Aftertaste is slight grassy but this beer is a good example of thirst-killing tasteful blond beer.

Bottle. Pours beautifully cloudy golden with a nice big creamy lasting and lacing egg white head. Aromas of orange fruit, yeast, lemons, peaches and some malty caramel. Flavours of citrus, caramel and a nice bitter finish. Tasty brew.

33cl fresh bottle at home. BB may 1st, 2011, sampled nov 5th 2009. cap came off almost by itself with a huge POP , my hand was forcibly moved up from the bottle by the explosion. not much beer was spilled as i poured quickly, however, with more than half the beer in a glass fluffy head still lava’s out of the neck of the bottle. I advise the use of napkins, glasses and earplugs when opening this one. Unclear orange with lots of debris of different sizes. very fluffy almost white but offwhite head. nice bitterhoppy aroma, not very strong, but a lot more "american" than your usual belgian beer. A little spicyness too. flavor is floral, spicy, bitterhoppy, as well as a little pine and grapefruity from hops. ends fruity and bitterhoppy. I would’ve rated it a bit higher if it didn’t almost explode upon opening. Also looks bad with the debris and the fluffy head.

Bottle, bought @ De Molen Beershop.
Pours clear coppery golden with a big, staying, frothy, off-white head. Peachy and fresh fruity aroma. Good hops, light caramel malt background. Medium carbonation, fine oily and lightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour is very citrusy, lots of peach, grapefruit, light caramel. Quite zesty as well with apple peel and grapes. Good dryish flowery and fruity bitterness in the finish. Good.

I should have noticed the 2007 vintage and the fact that it was stored at room temperature for almost a year. Shame on me, when will I learn. Un-capped with foam slowly building up and out of the bottle. It poured deep hazy gold with tiny floaties and lumpy off white head. The aroma is full of yeasty spice and then moving into red apples, dark grapes and fully ripe plums. The taste is smooth, soft and well blended with age bringing up notes of dark musty fruit and smooth yeasty spice. By midway a solid note of grapefruit, pulp, orange peel, floral hops and spice come to the surface in a smooth unassuming sort of way. It ends dry with plenty of hop flavor and spices but almost no bitterness.

THOUGHTS: The bottle exploded when I opened it, so I’m basing this review on about half a beer. It was a very Belgian IPA. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, dark, orangey yellow with an average to large, off-white head that kept a nice sheet and left excellent lacing. There were also tiny to small particles in the body of a thick density. The aroma was light to moderate malt; moderate herbal and earthy hops; heavy doughy, earthy and slightly funky cheesy yeast; along with light colored fruit. The initial flavor was sweet, lightly bitter and slightly sour; while the finish was sour, bitter and acidic with an average to long duration. There was mostly hops and yeast, along with citrus fruit, slight metallic hops. The light to medium body was sort of creamy, then dry with tingly carbonation and a lightly metallic finish.

Bottle. Hops, flowers and soil in aroma. Unclear yellow colour with huge white head. Bitter hops flavour elegantly mixed with flowers and weak malt sweetness.
