| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 2, 2009 Bottle from Alvinne. Pours very dark amber with a frothy beige/tan head. Aroma is suggestive of gingerbread. Medium body with frothy carbonation. It is bready and spicey. A bit astringent. I’m not saying I taste ginger per se, but it is seemingly gingerbread. Besides that it tastes of ripeish pale stone fruits. Finishes dryish, reasonably bitter, and subtly woody. Stuff even laces intrigingly.
