bottle, pours a dark mahogany with a rich looking tan head. The nose is all over the place with strong examples of honeysuckel, maple syrup, black pepper, and all spice. Sweet maltyness finds it’s way in and is joined by a nice melody of sweet and sour flavors. Orange juice, toffee, and clove hang out for a bit and end with a light hop bitterness and a bitter peppery lingering finish. Nice brew with alot going on.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Dark brown body with oily head. Malty and slightly sourish nose. Subdued taste of caramel, toffee and malts. Some sourishness again. Okay. I’ve had better from Alvinne.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with thin light tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits, leading to a finish where the fruit note lingers.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen/MiP/yespr. Slightly hazy reddish brown with a rough beige head. Spicy, woody nose. Medium body, roasted malty with dry woody accents and a light underlying acidity. Dry, bitter finish. 200309
