| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2009 bottle, pours a dark mahogany with a rich looking tan head. The nose is all over the place with strong examples of honeysuckel, maple syrup, black pepper, and all spice. Sweet maltyness finds it’s way in and is joined by a nice melody of sweet and sour flavors. Orange juice, toffee, and clove hang out for a bit and end with a light hop bitterness and a bitter peppery lingering finish. Nice brew with alot going on. altonbrownd (1962), Amsterdam, Netherlands
