Going through a tasting session and forgetting your notebook at the hotel is not good at all. Orange color, very small head. Hoppy aroma, blended with a lot of yeast. Subtle tingling hoppyness, bit yeasty with a very smooth finish. Nice. (tap at ginger mans nyc)

Bottle. Pours a cloudy light orange with a ridiculous frothy/soap suds white head. Aroma of hops, light fruit, and a sweet breadiness, but not nearly as much as I expected or would have liked. Flavor is, well hoppy, but not what I am used to with the American IPAs and IIPAs. It has a little more spiciness, but a little less in your face hoppiness, and a little thin in the body. As it warms up a little, there is more of a presence of fruit than earlier, a pleasant change with temp,but still not enough body. I love Hoppy beers, and I love Belgian beers, but I haven’t found a Hoppy Belgian that blows me away.......yet. This is definitely worth trying, but don’t expect it to change your life.

what is u with this beer? I poured it into a room temperture tulip glass...it poured pure foam. I poured it into a chilled tulip glass...it poured pure foam. it seems to explode in your mouth with foam. is thuis a bad beer?

330ml Belgian shorty bottle. Hoppy beers seem to be catching on it Belgium, and this is a great example. Sticky sweet with a much more balanced taste than an American hop bomb. Very nice yeast and hop balance. Alcohol very well hidden. Great beer.

33cl - Aroma of sweet yeast, fresh tree bark hops and what I can only describe as cheddar cheese. Pours cloudy copper with a big head and great lacing. Flavor is yeasty with citrus hops and a smooth caramel malt finish. Alcohol lets you know it’s there. Palate is creamy and tart. A nice twist that I enjoyed.

Pours a very clouded brown orange with a yellow hued crème head. Nose is slight peppery antiseptic. Touch of dough. Slight noticeable alcohol. Extremely full flavor. Robust and earthy. Lots of hops happening here. Very noticeable hit from the alcohol - way too much. Detracts a lot. I feel like I have the alcohol in my mouth. Leaves a bad aftertaste. Feel has a lot of carbonation and a decent liquid feel. Overall though this one is taken down a bit by the strong alcohol presence combined with the earthy and rustic nature of it. Good, but just too much going on to be a smooth drinker.

Amber colored with a big foamy heady. Hops dominate with some fruit aroma as well, heavily carbonated. Crisp, bitter finish that sticks in your throat. A decent, but unspectatcular offering

Bottle; poured a cloudy burnt orange with a medium to large white head. Aroma was quite unusual; a blend of spice, yeast, hops, flowers and leather/band aid. Flavor was medicinal and strange. Hops did not taste very good. Very herbal. Not a total drain pour, but it just didn’t work well.
