Draught at Monk’s: Sweet aroma of honey, grains, and apples. Poured gold/yellow in color with a medium-sized, creamy, white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Not sparkling Full of tiny particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of apples, light wood, yeast, slight alcohol, and a hot pepper-like spiciness. Light to medium body. Oily, slightly dry texture. Soft carbonation. Dry apple, wood, yeast, and spicy finish. I did not detect 115IBUs at all. Hops did not even really come out much in the flavor. 8%ABV was well hidden though.

Hazy golden coloured body with a full tan head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, lemons. Medium-bodied; strong yeast and wheat flavours. Aftertaste strong and lemony! Very nice to try! Chugged in bathroom at Stamford Bridge in West London, England on 12-March-2008.

A little hazy, dolden colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma of fruits like orange and citrus. I’s malty with hops. The taste is fruity, orange and citrus, hop bitter with some aniseed. There are some spices. The aftertaste has some bitterness.

Bottled. At omhper’s I think. Deep golden colour with creamy head. Fruity, spicy aroma with bit astringency that doesn’t really bother me. Peaty, fruity and phenolic in flavour with that light smokey ham character in taste, along with a slight caramelly touch.

Peut-être l’ai-je dégustée trop jeune, mais ce fut une bière bien moyenne. Le houblon n’était pas si présent, sinon sous des saveurs de légumes boullis. Goût terreux, cendré. Moyen...
