| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Draft at Redlight. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick white head. We were the first glass after tapping, so it wasn’t chilled yet, but really tasty at the cool temp it was. Very big citrus hops aroma, along with some belgian spice. Smooth bitter hop taste, very floral hops, more citrus and spices. Very good. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 31, 2008 Draft @ Redlight. Cloudy yellow gold. Fine head and heavy lacing. Lightly spicy with hints of phenols. A touch of lemony citrus. Alot of floral hops in the flavor, with a semi-sweet finish followed by a rising bitterness. Hops tend toward citrus as well, as the beer warms up.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2008 I drink this beer to the independence of Belgium! Happy independence day! Pours a cloudy orangish gold color with a ferocious head that takes over the tulip glass I poured it into! The fluffy off-white head lingers for quite a while and is made up of mostly tiny bubbles. The head almost looks like vanilla ice cream. The weakish aroma is hops, funk, and a touch of orange juice. The flavor is quite bitter with a stinging sensation of pine predominating. There are some small notes of citrus as well. The beer seems a bit unbalanced as the bitterness over powers the small-medium body of the beer. The beer finishes rather dry with little hint of alcohol. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Had this from a bottle at the winking lizard on betherl rd after a nice afternoon at Inniswood Metrogardens with my good friend Heather. The fact that it was followed by an Irish Car Bomb is of no consequence. Faint but fresh nose of spice, fruit, wheat, and sawdust. Pours a hazy honey. The creamy white mostly lasting head has fair lace. The fruity flavor is has a moderate alcohol bleed. The middle has decent depth and bitterness. Full flavored if not particularly well balanced. The medium body is soft and surprisingly dry at the finish. sneagrams3 (1761), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Nice, yet mild hoppy nose. Citrus and orange aromas. Medium bodied with a nice palate. Tight effervescence with a moderate bitterness. Good malts and good citrus grapefruit hops. Solid. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting.
Body is hazy light amber, bottle conditioned.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain/bread, cookie), lightly to moderately hoppy (apricot, flowers, herbs), lightly yeasty (basement), with a light note of peach.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Kinda boring, but the appearance and mouthfeel are quite nice.
