| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Tap at Ginger Man. Deep ruby red beer with no head at all. Aroma is a little bit sweet with loads of cherry sweetness. Light fruitiness with a touch of tannic fruit skin character. A bit of cherry pit/almondy flavour. The flavour is nice with a touch of soft cherry character. Fruity with a soft sweetness. Quite thin-bodied though. Light tartness on the back. There are some nice components but it needs to be amped up. thewolf (5803), Kolding, Denmark

Pours deep red with a very fizzy, pink head. The head is gone before the entire bottle is poured. Aroma has toffee, almonds and sweet cherries. High carbonation, fair dryness, but quite thin mouthfeel. Flavour is light tart (thankfully), cherries, caramel and marzipan in the finish. Okay but not very special. hopscotch (5510), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 25, 2009 Draft… Pre-C&P’sLYFO Throwdown… Clear blood-red ale with a small, creamy, pink head. The nose is subtle; just a pinch fruity and a smidge spicy. Extremely restrained; too much work pulling any aroma at all out of the glass. Light-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Perfectly-balanced. Very lightly acidic and just a touch fruity. Much like the aroma, the flavor is ultra subtle and thin. Crisp, clean finish. Not much too it. Six percent alcohol? It’s well-hidden… not always an asset. Belgian table beer, I think. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Cherry and pipparkakku aroma. Packed full of cherry - not sweet but sharp real cherries with the skins included. Crisp and dry, but alas a little thin. Covers 6% perfectly. Tasty - worth having again in summer when there isn’t snow on the ground outside. Ungstrup (15361), Frederiksberg, Denmark
