Red coloured beer with small reddish coloured head and no carbonation visible. Sour fruity aroma. Full palate bit sweet. Finish is sour, less near the end. Good one.

Tap at Ginger Man. Deep ruby red beer with no head at all. Aroma is a little bit sweet with loads of cherry sweetness. Light fruitiness with a touch of tannic fruit skin character. A bit of cherry pit/almondy flavour. The flavour is nice with a touch of soft cherry character. Fruity with a soft sweetness. Quite thin-bodied though. Light tartness on the back. There are some nice components but it needs to be amped up.

Bottle. [thank you, harrisoni]
Pours deep red with a very fizzy, pink head. The head is gone before the entire bottle is poured. Aroma has toffee, almonds and sweet cherries. High carbonation, fair dryness, but quite thin mouthfeel. Flavour is light tart (thankfully), cherries, caramel and marzipan in the finish. Okay but not very special.

Draft… Pre-C&P’sLYFO Throwdown… Clear blood-red ale with a small, creamy, pink head. The nose is subtle; just a pinch fruity and a smidge spicy. Extremely restrained; too much work pulling any aroma at all out of the glass. Light-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Perfectly-balanced. Very lightly acidic and just a touch fruity. Much like the aroma, the flavor is ultra subtle and thin. Crisp, clean finish. Not much too it. Six percent alcohol? It’s well-hidden… not always an asset. Belgian table beer, I think.

330ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki, Belgian Beer Weeks 2009)
Cherry and pipparkakku aroma. Packed full of cherry - not sweet but sharp real cherries with the skins included. Crisp and dry, but alas a little thin. Covers 6% perfectly. Tasty - worth having again in summer when there isn’t snow on the ground outside.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a thin pink head. The aroma is sweet with good notes of cherries. The flavor is lightly tart with notes of cherries, and light notes of nuts and wood.

Deep, red body. Off-white to pink head. Strong, intense aroma of cherries. Lightly sweet, quite balanced flavour. Flavour is not too sweet, quite dry instead. Good fruit beer. Quite simple but full flavour of cherries.
