Aroma is woody of that there is no doubt and the Calvados ageing is noticeable, as I can just pick an appleyness. Its got quite a tanginess and its really quite interesting but the actual beer seems a little lost. Despite its best efforts to draw me in I never really got on with this beer, but nonetheless am pleased to see beers like this and was glad to have tried it.
