Serving: 330 ml bottle. Appearance: Huge, rocky, off-white head on top of a cloudy, dirty orange pour. Great head retention and lacing. Aroma: Light nose with hints of dust and yeast. Little else. Taste: Wow! Big boozy beer warning! I would have never guessed by the nose. Ripe fruit, a sharp alcohol note, and big yeasty flavor. Nice spice notes as well. A nice strong Belgian. Strangely, I didn’t get any mustard notes from the mustard seed. Palate: Over carbonated, medium-light mouthfeel. Medium, hot (with alchol) and spicy finish. Overall: An aggressive strong Belgian that may benefit from some aging. Rebuy: I wouldn’t mind racking a couple of these to see how they hold up with time.

Pours a dark cloudy amber/ orange color with a foamy yellowish head. Tangy aroma with light fruits, hop and mustard seed. Hoppy up front with a malty fruity center and a shar tangy mustard aftertaste. Caronated up and sweet up front hoppy center and strong mustard aftertaste. Very unique but not very tasty. I was hpoping it would have a brown mustard fllavor not yellow.

Served in a snifter at the Bavarian Lodge. Pours a rich orange with a nice creamy head. Aroma is very yeasty with notes of orange, spice and light hoppiness. Flavors of rich malt blend with a faint spiciness at the end. At the end of maltiness a ceratin mustard spice lingers on the tongue. Its actually very good!! The 11% ABV is definitely well hidden!!

Bottle at Delirium Café, Brussels. Muddy golden coloured with a thick and creamy, lacing and lasting, off white head. Aromas of nuts, honey, spice and oranges. Flavours of caramel, warming alcohol and yeast. To sweet for me..

The pour yields an extremely cloudy, dark, dusky orange-amber color with some unavoidable yeast floaties. A small head of off-white foam settles quickly to a thin film, leaving a sticky wash of wet lacing on the glass. The nose is sweet, showing boozy, blonde candy sugar and hints of orange marmalade, followed by light, perfumy floral notes. There are some traces of apple skins, along with some spicy coriander, clove, and dried clementine. There’s even a faint hint of butter and brown sugar in there. The flavor is again sweet and alcoholic, pale sugars and citrus jellies melding well, while spicy notes of white pepper and coriander lend some bitterness to accompany the floral hops. The finish is long and candyish. Medium-plus bodied, but syrupy, the mouthfeel borders on being overly hot. I’m not sure I got any mustard seed in there, or that I’d even know it if I came across it, but this is a decent brew nonetheless.

330ml Bottle: Aroma of malts, hops, dust, slight mustard, light yeast, and some caramel. Poured amber/brown in color with a small, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling? Appears that the carbonation is moving from the head (top) down which is obviously unusual. Full of small and medium-sized particles throughout. Excellent lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of malts, honey, caramel, light fruit, light hops, and hints of cocoa, mustard, and pepper. Medium body. Smooth, creamy, then chalky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Sweet, malt, caramel, and slight mustard finish is chalky and dry. Very drinkable. 11%ABV is unnoticeable.

Bottle - 330ml. Nice hazy golden/orange body with a thin white foamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with apple and flowery hints. Alcohol is perfectly hidden. Taste is surprisingly mild for a 11% ABV beer. It carries yeasty and fruity notes. Ends with a long bittersweet finish. Good stuff.

Hazy orange with a big and bubbly, lasting white head. Aroma of malt with smokey-spicy phenols. Sweet fruit and caramel flavour with quite a bit of warming alcohol.
