Jan 18, 2007 Bottled. A murky orange-brown beer with a thick light orange head. The aroma is sweet spicy combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is very sweet and very spicy and very fruity, of the spices cloves comes thru strongest and amonst the fruits oranges stand out, and you can also taste the alcohol.

May 29, 2008 Bottled at the Struise farm. Hazy pale golden, airy head. Almondy and caramelly. Surprisingly slim for a beer this size with notes of grass and pear. Fruity with notes of canteloupe. Late resiny bitterness. An extremely drinkable 11% beer!

Jan 17, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Pours a very unclear, dark amber with a lively, off-white head leaving laces. Sweetish aroma of caramel, fruit and some yeast. Quite full-bodied with lots of fruit and diacetyl. A rather bitter finish - unusual for Belgium but not for Alvinne. 150107

May 18, 2007 CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours very hazy orange/brown with a white head. Apple sour aroma, yeast and caramel too. Malty and slight sour flavour. Finish is dry.
