draft @ redlight redlight. Oak and wine-like aromas, dark cherries, blackberries, a slight tartness, aromas reminds me of 05 Bon Chien. Pours a dark reddish amber, not sure about these Belgian stouts, you can see right through em! Rich malts, caramel and milk chocolate, with wine-like raspberry and cherry notes, with a lot of oak and a very mild tart funk, very wine-like. It may not be a good imperial stout, but it freaking rocks. It really does remind me a lot of Abbaye du St. Bon Chien 05.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, alcohol, wine, wood, roasted malt with an underlying light acidity from the roasted malt.
