Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, alcohol, wine, wood, roasted malt with an underlying light acidity from the roasted malt.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an almost clear reddish brown with a light brown head. Distinct oak in the nose. Quite full-bodied, sweet dried fruit and a pleasant vinous sourness. Soft mouthfeel and a warming alcoholic finish. Very delicious. 220809

Bottled at PBF. Dark brown, brief head. Salty crabverry aroma. Full bodied abnd quite tart. Cookie malt lies as a foundation where red berries clings to coffee and salt on top of it. Significant late herbal bitterness. A highly interersting beer, far outside the mainstream of barrel aged imperial stouts.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a bubbly tan head. Wineous and fruity aroma, very pleasant and inviting. Mild sourness shining through. Smooth and soft mouthfeel. Sweet and distinct fruity initial flavour. Light brett touch following. Good blend between the bourgogne wine fruity notes and the podge beers notes of malt, chocolate and yeast. Mild fruity flavoured into the finish. Light wooden note.

Bottle. Good vanilla aroma, some alcohol. Very dark brown colour. No head. The flavour starts off a little sweet, then it turns to port, vanilla, citric vinous note. Good alcohol level, but not overpowering. Rather thin mouthfeel.

Bottled. Deep ruby red colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, wood, some caramel and also some mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is caramel, fruits, some wooden notes, mild spices and a certain sourness. Not very much imperial stout left in the flavour in this one.
