Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy, dark red amber with a huge off-white head. Lovely apple and citrus hop aroma, blended with grass and yeast. Flavours are very bitter indeed, lots of apples. The complexity of the aromas are somewhat lost in the mouth, though. Still, a great Belgian IPA (if there is such as thing).

Bottled at Monks café, Wallingatn, Stockholm. Pours out in a shady dark golden colour with rich fluffy white foam. Dryish aroma of grassy, floral and orangey hops with subtle yeastiness. Medium to full-bodied with notes of grass, yeast, orange-peels and red grapefruit. Long bitter finish of grapefruit and grass.

Amber pour with a thin white head. Hoppy, citrusy nose. Flavor is tangy hops with a touch of bubblegum sweetness underneath. Not bad.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm) Hazy amber colour with huge, foamy, beige head. Fruity nose with orange, dried apricots, fresh citrussy hops and hints of yeast. Fruity taste with notes of orange peel, apricots, resin, yeast and generous doses of earthy hops in a rather bitter finish. Medium body, fairly dry. Very nice and tasty beer with a generous earthy, dry hop character.

Bottle@Belgobaren, Stockholm. Appearance: Hazy pale-redish color with a huge head. Aroma: Citric notes (orange and grapefruit), grass, weed and some caramel. Flavor: Pine, Citric notes (like orange marmelade), Exotic fruit, Caramel and grass. Palate: Solid malt base with lots of fruity hops and a nice crisp bitterness at the end. A very good belgian-style IPA which i hope i’ll be able to try again.

Bottled at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Cloudy pale amber, rich airy head. Strong hoppy grapefruit/mango aroma. Sweet and fruity with marmeladey yeasty orange. Spritzy, juicy and somewhat almondy with long inky bitterness.
