Bière jaune claire, avec un léger voile, qui présente une mousse très fine assez abondante, mais éphémère, qui ressemble à une meringue. La mousse est belle mais la couleur est peu invitante. Ce qui accompagne bien son parfum de tarte au citron, plus de légère notes de houblon. La saveure est avant tout citronnée (d’ailleurs la bouteille mentionne bière aromatisée au citron). Ça ressemble à la première gorgée d’une Corona ou la lime est fraîche et présente. Bien qu’assez sucrée, une note de houblon rend le tout bien agréable. La carbonation manque légèrement de piquant. C’est une bière originale, parfaîte pour la terrasse en une fin de soirée d’été. Se boit bien.

Bottle: Poured a light golden clear yellow color ale with some white hue and a big foamy head with less then average retention. Aroma of citrus syrup with some weak malt and some sugar is reminiscent of coolers. Taste is dominated by some weak malt with a good dose of citrus notes. A bit too sweet for my palate but still very refreshing. I’m sure this could have turned out worse then what I drank; overall it kind of reminded me of those Lindemans beers.

Can from Intermarche, Nr Boulogne, France. Cloudy pale yellowish grey with a pillowy white head and bits of sediment. Vanilla and lemon aroma. Smooth clove taste with citrus and banana. A little nettly bitterness. Quite liked it, despite its rather unpleasant appearance.

Light spicey nose,peppery, hazy yellow, tiny short lived white head.Lemon flavour, spice seems to have faded. Light bodied, watery. Average. Thank You R.

(Bottled, 0.75l) Opaque pale yellow with a small, but firm and creamy, reasonably lasting head. Very strongly, slightly arfificially lemony toilet-freshener aroma with some pineapple and coriandery spiciness - but mostly covered by lemon and lime. Lots of lemon and lime also in the flavor, with some dull, wheaty maltiness in the background. Light-bodied, reasonably refreshing and not quite watery palate with balanced, a bit foamy carbonation. A somewhat artificial, lemon-overdosed hybrid of witbier and Two Dogs. Luckily, it’s not very sweet, and goes down reasonably when served cold in the summer.

75cl bottle. Pale yellow, cloudy, medium-sized head. Aroma of rotten fruit. Rather thin brew, very watery. Slightly fruity and yeasty, a bit hoppy and malty.

Huge lemon light spice and some doughy wheat in the nose. Hazy but mostly clear yellow gold coloured body is topped by a low white head that recedes to ring with some lace. Strong lemon citrus flavour over watery wheat base. Yeast character is lacking and wheat doesn’t contribute a whole lot. Spices are very subdued. Light body with pleasant carbonation but rather watery texture. Bottle (Best Before 28/09/07, Bièropholie) sampled with Oakes.
