The flavor is thin, but refreshing with hints of lemon and fruit. The finish however is very weak and hollow. I just had the sense that something was missing. Not a bad beer that is certainly easy to suck back on a hot day, but not a good beer either. But it is French however, so a review like this is pretty darn good. Cheers. Moz (613), Gothenburg, Sweden

Opaque and whitish-yellow. No head. Soda-like aroma has lime, soap, and a touch of yeastiness. The taste is very lemon-lime, not like Sprite but I could see a less sugary lemon-lime soda. Very spritzy, which only serves to enhance the soda impression. Malts are subdued, but come in with a little sweetness towards the finish. Vague hop and spice dance around in there somewhere. Flavor with artificial citrus notes, candied lemon peel and ascorbin acid. Light astringent finish. Too artificial. rmussman (906), California, USA

Spicy and fresh aroma with clove and coriander, but the flavour has an annoying sweetness. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 16, 2006 750 ml bottle from City Market in Burlington VT (October 2006) sampled from a Duvel glass at cellar temperature. Soft swish of air as the cork is popped....smallish but lasting head atop a hazy light gold body....faint lemon-ginger nose, soft and unfocused....decent mouthfeel, lightly gritty and yeasty, soft and caressing, with a lemony character permeating the experience, bit of orange peel and coriander, solid carbonation level....but nothing stands out, it’s a very average example of a very average style, on the whole.
