Pours a hazy yellow color with a thick and frothy bright white head. Aroma is spicy with notes of fresh orange, coriander, and lemon. Flavor is similar with notes of crisp lemon and orange, bread, yeast, and sour, tart malt. Light to medium body with a crisp citrus finish. Reminds us of Hoegaarden with more citrus and spice. Nice witbier. SSSteve (2092), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

A very interesting white, pours very clear.
Aroma is filled with citrus, I would use the french word citronnelle, as it gives it a nice sweet citrus aroma and not too acidic. Reminds me of some lemonade.
Taste is filled with citrus, lime and spices, nothing artificial. The use of spices really help counter balance the acidity of the lime.
I am enjoying these new French beers and this brewery as well. PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2008 Tallahassee, Fl. - Liquor Loft - 750m ml caged corked bottle. Pours an elegant looking champagne-like light golden with a thin, but sticky and long lasting creamy white head. Zest, lemony aroma with hints of green tea. Refreshing flavor with the same lemony zestiness, a hint of spiciness - coriander comes to mind. Some mild bubble gum notes and a hint of green tea as well. Mouthfeel is a perfect blend of spritziness and creaminess. Rather enjoyed this one - surprised at the low ratings. TheBeerGod (3167), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 19, 2008 Bottle - 750mL - corked and caged. Pours a clouded gold. Tall fizzy white head fades to a small white ring in no time. Nose is very spicy with some herbal notes, lemon drops, strong yeast and some light, perfumy, soap like aromas. Taste is citrus (mainly lemon), soft yeast, light grains, herbs and spices, Body is light, somewhat crisp and spritzy. Refreshing on a hot night. This beer tails off with more lemony tartness, almost like lemonade at times with more yeast, strong flowery notes, spices and herbs. mvcramer (229), Arlington, Massachusetts, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2008 Good but not great. Looks better than it tastes. Nice snow-white foamy head and hazy appearance. No balance to it. Aroma is slightly over-citrused. Didn’t have an over hopped aroma, where you get that Pine Sol on the nose. More like too much of an orange/lemon aroma. Just a bit overdone. Slight over tartness on the palate. Finishes somewhat clean and is refreshing, but not a strong wit. Many better offerings in the category. BuckeyeBoy (1674), Boise, Idaho, USA

Head is initially average sized, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy light whitish-yellow, bottle conditioned.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a strong note of lemon juice/zest.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation.
Gotta give kudos for the color...it’s rare that witbiers really do have a whitish cast, but this one is about as close to what I’d call "white" as I’ve seen in any real beer. Shame it isn’t that good in other respects...smells like lemonade (and not quite the wholesome fresh-squeezed kind either, we’re talking about made-from-powder lemonade here), and it’s quite watery, fizzy, and light bodied. Not bad, mind you, but definitely not that good.
