Commercial Description:
Unfiltered beer containing aromatic wheat which confers its fruity and acidulous taste. It is a beer which undergoes two successive high fermentations. The use of wheat gives to the product an excellent foam behaviour as well as a pale and opalescent color.

750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow, with a large white head that recedes quickly. Strong aroma of lemon peel. Taste starts off lemony and finishes with nice wheaty flavor. Quite pleasant and a great match for spicy seafood.

Pours cloudy yellow with a large foamy white head. Strong citrus, lemon zest, coriander aroma. Flavor has some saison-like spiciness, vanilla, clove, orange peal and lemon. Nice crisp light body. eh...fruity. Definitely French.

Corked bottle and served in my Hoegaarden tumbler: Pours a hazy straw hue with a fizzy head and minimal lace. The aroma is very lemony and reminds me quite a lot of a weak lemonade. Just a hint of wheat, ginger, coriander and pink grapefruit. The flavor is weak acidic fruit and mild limp spices upon the finish. The whole taste profile is like mixing a Ginger Ale with a Sprite soda then adding some carbonated mineral water. BLAH! The mouth feel is refreshing enough due to the watery nature of the brew and the carbonation. BURP!

There are so many better example of the genre than this and a lot cheaper too. AVOID!

Bottle courtesy of Jamie @ Max’s in Baltimore. Someone previously wrote spooge, unfortunately thats what i thought of while pouring this. Very sweet lemonady & sugary citrus aromas. Almost malternative beverage like. Very sweet taste, sugary. Probably decent by the pool on a 90 degree day but not right now

Pretty lemony. Some spicy coriander to it, as well, but not a lot. Super thin and light. Pass.

750ml bottle. Looks like lemonade, or watered down splooge. Ive never seen a beer quite like it. Nose smells like pineapple but mostly grapefruit. mouth is mellow spritz that is good and sweet. Finish is lacking a bit. If anything this is incredibly unique, but more like a Shady than a beer. None the less It is good, and underrated imo.

This was a very unimpressive witbier that reminded me of lemonade or a shandy more than anything else. Definitely not recommended...if you’re thinking about drinking this beer, do yourself a favor and get a Wittekerke instead. It poured a fizzy opaque lemonade color with meringue head. Aroma was like lemon-lime soda...maybe like Squirt. Flavor was also lemon-y more than anything else, although there was a detectable amount of coriander...but mostly it was a lemonade-powder flavor. Mouthfeel was rough, uneven, and chalky. I would not recommend this beer. I had a big glass of this at the South Beach Food & Wine festival.

Can. Pours a murky white-yellow body with a creamy white head. The aroma has some wet cardboard, cookie dough, orange, and lemon. Gingery dry palate. Very thin and watery body with no discerning flavours.
