P-tor44 (887), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Sep 4, 2001 Updated: Aug 20, 2003While driving through the back roads of France we stoped at a supermarket and found this. When I finally opened it I couldn't believe it. Cloudy, yellow color, creamy head. Spicy, Vanilla aroma. Citrus taste with strong spicy flavor. My favorite Wheat Beer with a good dash of a musty funkyness. Solid although no longer my number 1 dwyerpg (2094), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 7, 2008 Smells like orange peel, a bit of coriander. This is nice. Light, crisp, a good orange flavor throughout, but not that of orange juice. Quite refreshing. A good bubbly flavor. One of the best Belgian whites that I’ve had, in my opinion it seems a bit underrated. motelpogo (4124), Plzen, Czech Republic Dec 28, 2002 tasted this one again in paris and it was much better than i remembered. full and spicy. maybe the french should try making more wheat beers. nice and cloudy and the aroma reminds one of the french countryside Kinz (1916), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Sep 17, 2008 Pale hazed yellow, decent foamy white head, really just about perfect appearance for the style. Aroma was wheat, citrus, and coriander, not exciting, but pretty much spot on. Initial orange flavor moves into a very light bodied, slightly soapy wheat beer, with coriander on the finish. Really quite nicely done. You could knock the soapy quality, but I just don’t mind that in a wit. Bov (4659), Bienne, Switzerland Sep 4, 2001
