Bottle shared by tertons. Thanks Nelson! Pour is pitch black with virtually no head. Aroma of roasty malt and sweet chocolate. Not much barrel in the nose, but there is some booze. Flavor is very roasty and a bit smokey. Full palate, nice and creamy. Good brew, but a bit hot.

Hope I’m rating the right beer. Very dark brown/black body. Soy sauce in the nose (and something illegible). Salty taste, soy sauce again, ok maltiness. Amager did better beers than this.

Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Fruity roasted malty vanilla aroma with some hints of chocolate. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with some hints of vanilla from the wood. . Roasted malty chocolate finish with some woody hints.

Jul 4, 2008 Black color, with a wonderful creamy head. It has a very nice aroma, of caramel, vanilla, a bit cheesy (tomme). Smooth mouthfeel, medium body strength, aggressive alcohol since the first notes; very good roasted malt and chocolate flavor, well mixed together, with a touch of liquorice, vanilla and tobacco. You will feel the bitterness, extreme, in the long. Just a bit too alcoholic. Wonderful.

Jul 3, 2008 Bottle at Chris_o birthday bash 08. Black with thin tan head. Hot alcohol, intense, oily mouthfell, soy sauce flavour, which I don’t like. Too oily, soy saucey for me.
